I've been here since March of 02 and this is my first time on in a while. It lost it's feel during that first renovation, but I hope it can come back. It also doesn't help that the majority of music coming out now is garbage.

Its interesting to note that during the IC early years there was a lot going on in hip hop. The site started in November 2001 around the time Jay and Nas was about to start their beef, leading into 2002 when stuff was popping off left and right, crazy interviews and so much. So that helped give people something to talk about on here.

I've been in here since 03... and back then, around 04/05 Reason was the shit... no hiphop message board was seeing it on any level.

Then they went thru the renovations and what not in late 05 or so, came back dry as shit, and over a couple of months it became hot again...

Ever since 08 til now, AllHipHop's message board never been the same. Some great people came thru and never came back because they keep closing it down, the immaturity of other users, or the lack of monitoring the threads... it was just a complete mess, honestly. and I never fucked with SOHH, never liked their shit (everything about that website) from day one. but they dont go thru all this shit that Allhiphop goes thru like every other fucking year. it just got annoying.

Hopefully they keep this site running, fix up the brightness, allow signatures, and have people who are MATURED enough to monitor these damn threads.

IC will never be like it was, but it can be better than it is now...

SHOUT OUTS TO: HotepSuns, HipHopScribe, 2pacnBiggie, Hannibalsmith, all them dudes (cant remember off my head right now) who had this bitch on locked with memorable threads and discussions.

I believe it will.....hip-hop is too powerful a force to ignore.....although it will take a long time to achieve the popularity it had back in 2003-2008.....whoever takes care of this website is doing a terrible job. Smh

Sad but true.....the music hip-hop is dropping nowadays is frighteningly bad. No wonder record sales are down so badly. Take away Kanye, TI, 50, Jay, Drake, sometimes Lil Wayne, and Eminem, and hip-hop is essentially worthless. Step your game up new breed. On some real shit, I miss 2pac and Biggie more and more everyday......sad days for hip-hop in many ways.
