true hes in the history books ... but can he drop an album right now and make an impact like he used too ????? look @ raekwon hes been dropping solid material but it doesnt have the same impact it used to have ... same with ghost ....

that would be the difference ... the last album that really had a impact was UNTITLED ... and that was based off the contrevesy ... not fanfare and sales ...

He already makes better music then everybody else, so why do he need to re-do whats been done already?

First I just watched the vid and preme never said anything about bringing him back and I appreciate PREME not cosigning the interviewee defending It was written, Preme mention "I gave you power" and dude goes "nah"????? He lost me right there, automatically knew he was throwing NAS in a box not giving him the credit he deserves even though there are a few with a one track mind who feel the same way(not me included).

As far as your impact argument illmatic didnt initially have the sales but was appreciated by fans,same goes with Untitled and D.R.. We in a different era which calls for different measures to be taken and the best solution is to stay in your lane and not follow suit with whats trendy or even take thee advice from what you may think the majority of your fanbase expects from you, thus the best thing for a artist to do is to make the music they wanna make and let the chips fall like NAS been doing.

I think a Nas album with that line up would be dope, I don't know about classic though. Nas has proven that he can make great music without them with God's Son, Untitled and Distant Relatives. With that said, those producers add that extra something to his music that makes it greater even though the last song that Nas did w/ Q Tip wasn't all that hot.
