Yea true, it's happened before, but sparingly. Jermaine Dupri in his early days had a few go to co-producers in Carl-So-Lowe and Manuel Seal, later he worked frequently with Bryan-Michael Cox. But in 2016, that shit is fuckin ridiculous *RZA voice*, and I partly blame the shit on Kanye (starting mainly with 808s), with some songs having 26 fucking producers. Second his songs are played at every sports game and on commercials. So he gets paid when his music is used in public or commercials movies etc etc. On top of that his singles go gold or plat so he gets money from those singles selling well. He probally has to pay those artists for features and they get cuts but most of his shit in the last 10 years unfortunately is on the top of the charts.
These electronic/house dj's tour the world playing other peoples samples/music and make millions. It's not a long shot Khaled is getting paid well to be the hip hop version of this.
