In honor of the late legendary producer J Dilla’s birthday, a Detroit art gallery will host its 3rd annual “Dilla Youth Day.”

Youth will have the opportunity to gain hands on beat making experience from Grammy Award-winning Hip-Hop producer DJ Head.

I've been to that record shop mentioned in the article (Melodies and Memories) it's a pretty big place, pricey as hell too.

I had no idea Dilla was a regular there. Amazing stuff.
