Anybody still sleepin on Devin needs to wake the fuck up. How many other "underground" rappers can you name that have worked / toured with Dr. Dre, made numberous songs with Snoop, were discovered by Scarface, and have appeared on tracks with Jay-Z, Ice Cube, UGK, De La Soul, Andre 3000, etc.? It's hard to say if Devin would have a bigger career if he had not signed to Rap-A-Lot. Their lack of promotion (mainly videos) definately held him back, but at the same time, he has so many classics with 'Face, Geto Boys, 5th Ward Boyz, Tela, etc., that probably wouldn't have happenned if he hadn't been on Rap-A-Lot. Not to mention there wouldn't have been any Mike Dean, and maybe even Odd Squad, production.
