Roc-A-Fella started as a group of risks with unknowns. Jay-Z, Beanie Sigel, Christion, etc.

Beanie was not with Rocafella when it started, he didnt come onto the scene until 1998.

Jay was successful and so was beans, bleek, clue, cam, kanye & the diplomats. state property had some radio hits & his management of twista is the stuff of legend. also, both of his joint ventures with chicago's r kelly were major wins & could have been even bigger without the scandal. in house producer just blaze (reppin' jersey) had his greatest era here.

can't forget about dash's illustrious film record:

* Backstage (2000)
* State Property (2002)
* Paid in Full (2002)
* Paper Soldiers (2003)
* Death of a Dynasty (2003)
