He clapping at Ray Lewis, shady McCoy, the NFL, and the owners. The league is missing the point about the racism and unarmed killings of Blacks in this country

Dale Jr. been the only NASCAR CaC worth a shit. He still living off his daddy's legacy though.

And lol @ Trump applauding NASCAR for this shit. It literally means nothing for them to say that. They are a sport by and for Rednecks. I'm pretty sure kneeling in support of a black cause was never going to be an issue for them.

Shannon Sharpe just called out NFL players for being hypocrites for only taking action now that Trump insulted the NFL but not standing in solidarity with Kaep. Said Ray Lewis should've just stayed in the locker room

I agree to some extent, but you also have to allow room for people to admit wrong and get on the right side. They got called SoBs by the President. That's a "straw that broke the camel's back" type scenario for some people. I think it's reasonable to say that it should have taken that long for them to take a stand, but you shouldn't really bash them once they've decided to do so.

Everything people are saying about Ray Lewis is right though. At this point it doesn't matter what he does. If he had twelve legs and took twelve knees, he'd still be a fuck nigga.

As always Shannon was 100%

and he closed it with this.. check back with me in a couple of weeks..(he is right what hes intimating)

also we will see cheap, cheesy vapid psa sure to come...bet money..

They not missing the point. They know exactly what the point is and has been. Its just that most folks can't admit to themselves that these people really don't fucking care.

All Goodell ever talks about is the nfl's brand, shield and its image. The shit most of these players and owners pulled yesterday was all about the nfl's image and brand. Shit ain't have a got damn thing to do with racism, white supremacy or police brutality.

That shit was nothing more than a fake ass see we care photo op.

I agree but my personal issues ain't with the players, it's with the coaches and owners. Less than a week ago nobody wanted to touch kaep for the controversy around him kneeling now they wana be "in solidarity" with niggas that knelt. It's bullshit and I bet good money all them owners gon be up in the press box next Sunday for the anthem and not on the field.

Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro issued a long-winded screed during her Saturday night opening monologue deploring NFL players who have protested the pregame national anthem — as well as the whole league and its commissioner.

During her rant, Pirro defended President Donald Trump’s call for firing those who take a knee during the Star Spangled Banner and his “son of a bitch” comment directed at the players.
These fulminations came on Saturday during Pirro’s show Justice, where she also said the following:

The biggest issue facing our country today is the tip-toeing and political correctness that has brought us to the brink of disaster in national security, politics, and sports. The question now is: do we have the fortitude, courage, and determination to stand up to those who threaten our values?… And don’t give me this crap that [NFL players] want to support reform and stand up against social injustice. You want to convince America that this is about social justice and the Constitution then maybe you ought to get off your ass and do something positive for the country that has allowed you to make a fortune.”

Additionally, Pirro claimed the NFL is not “a force for good” in communities like the league’s commissioner Roger Goodell says, pointing to arrest records and concussion reports as a sign that the game isn’t what it’s cracked up to be.

Ironically, Trump himself has disputed Pirro’s thoughts on concussions in the NFL, as the president has criticized overprotective referees and football’s new precautionary rules. “Concussion? Oh, got a little ding on the head, no, no you can’t play for the rest of the season,” said Trump last year, mocking football’s safety regulations.

“Shame on all of you. And shame on you, too, Roger Goodell for not showing you love this country as much as the president does — when you had the chance,” seethed Pirro, concluding her monologue.

John Oliver on Trump/NFL Feud: ‘When You’ve Lost The Moral High Ground to Roger F**king Goodell…’

On Sunday night, John Oliver addressed President Trump‘s call to fire NFL players who protest during the national anthem.

“The president took time out — while it’s worth noting that over 3 million American citizens in Puerto Rico are without power — to call Colin Kaepernick a son of a b*tch,” Oliver said.

The Last Week Tonight host mentioned the numerous protests that took place on Sunday and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell‘s condemnation of Trump’s remarks.

“When you have lost the moral high ground of Roger F**king Goodell, something is horribly wrong!” Oliver exclaimed.

Oliver then went after Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro for her harsh words to the NFL anthem protestors
:

America has been incredibly good to every one of you from the time you displayed talent in sports as a youth. America’s allowed you to shine and become financially prosperous. There are so many of you who make tens of millions of dollars… Shame on you, shame on all of you!”

“She is right, no one wants to hear about politics from a wildly successful athlete,” Oliver reacted. “You only want to hear about it from an abject failure of a prosecutor who somehow let Robert Durst slip through her fingers. And by the way Jeanine, there’s a flag behind you. Have some f**king respect.”

Chiefs QB Alex Smith on President Trump's statement critical of National anthem protestors: "I find that very alarming… This is the same guy who couldn't condemn violent neo-Nazis but he's condemning guys that are taking a knee during the national anthem."

One of the o-linemen for the raiders already said it was just a one week thing and that no plans to continue were talked about or made.

they surgically removed the reason..for the protest and co-opted it, it wasnt about any of the root issue it was about "divisiveness" ,"unity" and trumps bad words.. going forward youll probably hear "message was sent now we can move forward"

What's fascinating to me is how Jerry Jones of the Cowboys made clear to the team that NONE of them are to even think of kneeling during the anthem and they all obeyed. How you have millions of dollars but no power?
