The feds is the real reason y murder Inc got wiped out cuz the Inc was still making hits after get rich or die snitching....Irv, suge & j Prince going to the press telling they venture was a mistake imo cuz as soon as them 3 was talking bout Linkin up them cracka ass feds cracked down on them cuz the Inc, the row, & the lot was about 2 crush the machine & kill the shady cracka white supremacy grip on hip hop

That rap union committee that Irv, Prince and Suge was gonna form would've been the shit. Fast forward to now, we got Future tryna weasel 10 mil out of the indie label that helped grow. We are getting closer to losing our independence from the majors.

Yo @gee757 what you know bout Valentine? Dude drops science.

The thing about Future is.. I am not sure if he has 10 Million to pay that indie label.. Ya'll know it's all smoke and mirrors.. However, the machine that is currently behind him definitely has it..

In this video Chris said Universal Broke every single contract they had with the Inc.. So if Universal can do that to the Inc.. You can imagine if Rocko will end up getting his bread..

$100m in billing (revenue before Universal eats)?

That's believable with sales, label, and publishing. Ja Rule & Ashanti were selling and Irv was producing for everyone.

Go read 'Queens Reigns Supreme'... IMO it was Irv doing business with Preme for street cred was his and The Inc's downfall, I beleive Chris Gotti didnt even want to deal with Preme but Irv pushed it... The Feds were clealry going to be all over Preme when he got out then Irv goes into buisness with him, cleary for me thats a stupid move, no???

I got no bias, I liked Inc's music and early 50's... And I think Irv was a great music exec, but for me his biggest mistake and downfall was messing with Preme and trying to claim him as friend for street cred and muscle against 50...

Had they tried to ride the storm without Preme they may still of come through the otherside...

Yup, and it didnt help his case when his label was named "Murder INC". But niggas wanna believe its cuz Irv, Suge & J prince combined would of taken over the world, be serious. The ego's alone would of brought down that union.

Y'all like to believe that every move Murder Inc made was in response to to 50.

Their world didn't revolve around 50 Cent

I didnt say he linked up with Preme because of 50, I said he probably ran with Preme for street cred...

But the fact he was beefing with 50, then linked up with someone who 50 'allegedly' had beef was probably a 'win/win' for him...

Like I said, I liked both The Inc's and 50's music...

Just proves how fickle hip hop fans are, they'll turn on you at the drop of a dime. Dude had classics. I know people that were huge ja rule fans but won't admit today that they were

lol @ believing Suge was gonna "save hip-hop"...........if that union had ever happened, he probably woulda embezzled funds from that shit

No they weren't. Clap Back was Ja's last solo hit without R Kelly or Fat Joe. Ashanti's chart history look like she died in 2004. Meanwhile Curtis was pushing 2 million in a week and The Reason had its own G-Unit subforum. Chill with this revisionist history.

What year do people think it was? Death Row for all intents and purposes died in 1996. Crooked I was their last chance at relevance and they shelved both albums he recorded. Suge filed for bankruptcy in 2006 and declared $11 in his checking account. He had no real industry power by that point.

J.Prince? Considering how Rap-A-Lot was notorious for pinching pennies and exploiting its artists, its hilarious to imagine him standing up for artist rights and compensation lol.

Niggas will say anything in a interview to get back in the headlines.
