"At 8 a.m. Sunday, a 34-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was in the 3900 block of West Congress Parkway when he was shot twice in his right upper thigh.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said."
