Closest I ever came to smacking a b!tch was at a Super Bowl party. Broad was the loudest person in the room (about 12 females, 15 dudes) and in typical thirsty-broad fashion, she's trying to get attention so she's making comments before, during, and after the play that have nothing to do with the game. To make matters worse, THIS was the Super Bowl we were watching...

....So you KNOW I was already heated to begin with.

"If the Cowboys wuz playin' they would kill the Denvers!" (Yes "The DENVERS", I kid u the fuck not. Granted she was just like 16 or 17, but we were all that age. AND the Cowboys got Hulk-smashed that year by the ARIZONA CARDINALS in the first round.)

I made a rule with myself that from that day forth I would refuse to watch sports or even discuss sports (especially football) with a bitch that has shown a severe lack of knowledge and respect for the game......

...And by "bitch" I mean MALES AND FEMALES.

Ive watched basketball for 25 years, and up until about 15 I watched my fav teams every game. But there comes a point in every mans life where there is just other shit to do. Ain't no f'n way I am going to take 3 hours out of my day to watch the Celtics Vs. 76ers in December. I read the highlights, check up on records every so often, but the only time I am watching a full game is playoff time.

after hearing Rasheed Wallace and another player say that shit,I cant really take it serious

i member it was like mid december and some reporter asked sheed about the game and he said something like "why you asking me bout the game like it matters. it aint even april yet. we making the playoffs"

that was it,
i mean, how can i respect ya sport if the players obviously dont

and year in & year out you hear players sayin shit like "wait till the playoffs"
what kinda shit is that???

so yall jus play 60 meaningless games and the last 22 are what really matter???

i think thats why football fans are so passionate about the sport.
we got 16 games, 17 weeks. one game a week to hold on to. all of them count.
you can be a shoe-in for first seed in the playoffs and teams still take heat for resting starters,,,,,its jus that serious

Agree with your basic point, but I'm not one who believes that none of the regular season NBA games don't count.

That's just a cop-out that fans and players use when they get beasted. NFL fans and players can't use that 'cause it's only 16 games, and one game can make or break your season. (i.e., the Packers would've never made the playoffs had they lost one more game than they did.)
