At first I did not understand why she says "you're looking for something I know, won't make you happy" since the song is about love. When I think of love and searching for it, I do believe that it is something that will make me happy. Corinne understands that there will inevitably be pain and hurt in relationships which I why the song says what you're looking for what won't make you happy. But at the same time, it was worth it.

I agree that the song is about her husband, but i believe she's referring to herself in that line. "you broke another skin...its hard to believe my hearts an open door." Perhaps she is saying you broke a wall i had up and now im open to love. The skin being the wall.

I love this song. I downloaded it onto my iPod that night! (forgot to sync it )

I let my husband listen to it last night before we went to bed and he was asking me what it was about. I was like uh....I've only heard it once. I was trying to think of what was said in this thread. lol.
