I don't want to start another thread, but I have something to say.
First of all, the song is cool. Its that "aggressive content" that G-Unit is known for.
But now that G-Unit has been in the industry for 15+ years they seem to be stuck on the "aggressive content". Maybe that's just their niche and thats what their fans want to hear but it makes me wonder, how come they don't rap about other stuff like whats corporate america like? Whats the entertainment industry like? Whats the dating situation like when you become famous?
I can remember when KRS One came out his first album was Criminal Minded. Then he started making conscious rap and he'd switch it up, sometimes he'd rap about some gangsta sh!t and the next song would be socio-political. Granted, KRS wasn't multiplatinum but he had a solid fan base, he still does.
Nas switched his style up, so did Jay.
Am I the only one that would like to hear G-Unit switch up their content? Or does everybody accept that thats what they rap about and thats that?
