I mean if he's availablel get him, but when u watch the knicks right now you dont say 'man if only they had a better pg'...
What they need is an overall talent influx...they could use some of that depth that portland got

F*ck CP3. Billups is better he's just older.

Derron Williams and Nash > CP3

No disrespect to Billups, but I'd take Paul over him, if only because of the age difference.

Billups might be the most underappreciated player in NBA history. All that guy does is mold winners. I love the fact that he's with the Knicks right now. His leadership will probably get them past the first round of the playoffs. I think the Knicks have a shot against anyone in the East except Boston. For some reason, I think the Celts would handle them, but Chicago, Orlando, Miami or Atlanta would have their hands full with the Knicks.

That said, if the choice in a year's time is between a 26-year-old Chris Paul and a 35-year-old Chauncey Billups, you gotta go with CP3 for the simple fact that Paul will have another 7-10 years of peak performance left in him; Billups most definitely will not.

I used to Run around saying that Williams and Rose were better than CP3 and took alot of flack for it.
I was just pointing out what I thought was obvious. It was obvious that the Cheap Seats were just oblivious.

No way the Hornets add anything to their roster their bankrupt and owned by the league. That would defeat the purpose. As for CP3, NY would love to have him but you watch him play tonight and you think "what the hell is all the noise about?"

Totally agree. I've been saying this for a while also.

Lil' nigga it is a question.

I would personal want CP3 but since I am a hornets fan I want him to stay with the hornets! So whatever assumptions you had was wrong!

They are not bankrupt! They dont have a owner and wont until the NBA start discussing it with potential owners. This wont happen until they get through with the state talking about any incentives they can get. But if you look at what the Hornets have done so far, the league wants them to be attractive for any potential owners. That is why I see the league potentially moving to a franchise tag. But not exactly like the NFL!

Paul's rep is largely livin off that season 2 years ago

somethin like 21, 11, 4 steals, some crazy shyt...plus he took a bum team to a 3 seed i believe

But now, Deron is a better scorer and can still do everything paul does set up wise. plus bigger

But i digress...

make no mistake cp3 is done with the hornets they traded his only perimeter threat for a guy that is david west 2.0 but wont play to make a difference because well the real David West is still on the team....he sees Marcus Thornton ripping it up in Sactown, and he looks at his coach disgusted at the fact he never played thornton when he was on the hornets and kept playin scrubs like jack, willie fuckin green and fuckindamn belinelli...little shit like that is why hes done with that squad...he sees melo and stat and is like i need to be here he is resting up his talent for it to ACTUALLY get him results

He has really been slacking with the scoring lately. And Thornton has been one of my favs since his LSU days. That boy can score in bunches. REading all the articles they were hoping not to get rid of Thornton because he was there only real scoring threat off the bench. Marco is on the bench now so they are hoping he can bring the energy but he may be mad he is behind Wille Green.

Their only hope is to get Jamal Crawford and maybe Bynum. If they have to trade CP3 midseason, then get Billups and a someone or something else.
I dont see Bynum coming if CP3 doesnt sign a extension though.

Fuck up part is the Hornets dont have a first round draft pick. At least that is what I read on the HIVE!

Cosign this niggas still crowinin paul from 07-08 season when RIGHT NOW he's not the same pg but still paul>>>>>billups

He will get traded this summer or by next trade deadline

The simple fact that paul is being compared to billups is asinine

Real talk people are crownin all of em.

Its really a slap in the face to guys like Kevin Johnson, Tim Hardaway, Mark Price, etc. who put up great numbers in their prime and now are not as highly regarded as they should.

But when people talk about Paul, Deron, Rondo, etc they act like they re-inventin shyt lol

Nggas been puttin up 18 n 10 for years...

Rose is the only one doin some abnormal shyt (i know you'll love that part lol)

As a Hornets fan, I want him to be devalued as much as possible. But at the same time if the moves arent made in the offseason I want him to be at least worth enough to get a good deal.
