Being old enough to remember It was well known in rap circles that people felt that BIG album was a blatant bite off of NAS album cover. Yes it's not identical but the theme of putting a childhood pic on the cover is. It's just like someone taking a line and just wording it a little different. That's what Jay get slack for.
