I like both artists, Kendrick is viewed in some circles as the return of the golden era and he does live up to the hype I think he still has a lot of room to grow even being as talented as he already is. Jay Elec is like a fuckin myth or some shit, it's like now you see him, now you don't. Even though Jay is yet to drop an album and Kdot is already workin on his 2nd, it seems as if J.E. has found a way to distance himself from other rappers and remain light years ahead, like the whole direction that the game is going in right now with emcee's droppin albums referencing religious figureheads as of late "the games black jesus,kanye's yeezus,jay-z' mchg (which isn't something I'm expecting Jay to do) is just a forerunner in my opinion to what is yet to come. meaning Jay is gonna bring that God/Rap aura to help resurrect the art. Of course this is all my opinion but this is why I give J.E. the edge over K.
