do you consider any one of those shows good shows? Like i said they created some shows on their own and typically they sucked. None of those shows are anything i'd personally buy a dvd of.

They usually get all their good shows from other networks anyway. The Game, Martin, Jamie Fox Show, etc. all came from other networks. Plus when they aren't showing that or movies they bought the rights for, they are showing meh reality shows or 106 & park. Where as other networks actually can come up with atleast one good show every year.

TAVIS SMILEY(on PBS now),Teen summit, & Rap city before the basement were all good shows. Till this day I always say the basement was like a budget cut...joe cleezy and big lez were the best,tigger was annoying at times. Comic view fell off hard with too much coonin and became more commercialized. I miss the good old dayz...............

this post explains a lot of what i was going to say
Comic View was okay but in the end it was mostly cooning jokes and weak ass comedians who together couldn't hold a flame to guys like dave chappelle, richard pryor, bill cosby, and a few others. Only exceptions from Comic view were maybe Deray, Duval, corey Holcomb, and Redd.

Tavis Smiley show was cool but would you pay for it if it came out on DVD? The Basement and original 106 park was probably the only great shows they ever created from sctratch to me.
