I voted Soul Calibur because when I was playing third strike I always thought about how fucking great the game would be with a more interesting roster(more originals etc) I wasn't really feeling SF4 (Capcom vs Snk 2000 millionaire fight was the shit, the dreamcast in general spoiled the 2D fighting genre for me, from project justice to kof series). Soul Calibur has great single player modes and your friends can basically pick up and play that shit, people that never or barely played SF suck at it lol..

Soul above Tekken because we all know tekken is a poor mans Soul Calibur.

If it would be about the beat em up genre meets fighting game than I would pick Shaolin Monks...
