I came in to say Group Home wins this thread with this album...

...but at the same time i feel bad because even though they weren't worthy, the album still worked somehow as a whole.

Ja Rule owns this thread. He had the perfect, beats that industry cats were feeling at the time. But lyrically he wasn't the greatest rapper. He was a good songwriter and came up with catchy hooks but I can think of a lot of underground rappers that would have sounded better over those beats (i.e. Mos Def)
