the rapping was the best part of the movie,without the rapping it was just about some white kid getting picked on, but as far as a overall movie Juice was better. this scene alone made Juice GOAT.

c/s that Juice was a better MOVIE than 8 Mile, but aside from the deejaying which wasn't even covered much throughout the rest of the movie, does it really qualify as a hip hop movie? If it does to yall, then yeah, Juice is better. 8 Mile is one of the best HIP HOP movies (the acting wasnt great, but Em showed some chops with the scenes with Kim Basinger). I would say Wild Style and Beat Street were better, cuz they were the essence of hip hop at the time where it wasnt even accepted. 8 Mile came the closest to representing that essence in a movie again.
