My beef with commercials like this is that these new age ads try so hard to push this whole LOOK, we're Post-Racial/ Happy Rainbow agenda but yet only go so far so it won't look offensive.
These ads have so many racial undertones these days that the shit aint even coincidental. It's like the ad people be like, "Let's insert a monitory here and focus the camera on him so we can look progressive but make sure he's not too minority-ish" It's like the token negro in the crowd has been replaced with the safe neutral negro. People pretending like race aint still taboo. Case in point..... the T.O. Monday Night Football commercial with the Desperate House Wives chick. That nigga probably received death threats for that shit. If it would have been Tony Romo in that commercial nobody would have blinked an eye.

lol, i didn't witness any wins in that commercial, she has ole boy shoke to even say anything, telling himself to shut up and shit. the over-bearing woman, hen-pecked, emasculated man is a common stereotype perpetuated on tv. it's not a race thing imo.

what i do find funny (in an ironic way) about the cheerios commercial is that if the roles were reversed and the women was having to shut up, there's no way in hell it would've ever been on tv
