i really don't see this commercial as a race thing, more of a man/woman thing. that nagging or overbearing wife/girlfriend and hen-pecked/fed-up husband/boyfriend stereotype is one that is often used in television. don't see how this has anything to do with race. those 2 characters could just as easily have been ray and deborah romano. this cheerios commercial has these same stereotypes of men and women with white actors:
