Their obsservations aren't off. What's wrong with portraying reality? Angry black woman shitting on a black man even though he has insurance, and black man preferring light skin women to dark skiin. Seems pretty accurate to me.

nothing to do with nothing

i think the commercial is a lil too loose to really say it was portraying stereo types.

for one, the black girl nagging wasnt really all that bad. people do get upset after accidents etc. i think a white woman would have done the same thing in a white woman way

the part that most people leave out is that they both turn into models. its not like the black guy turns into a white model and the black girl turns into a white model too. i think at the end of the day people have to accept that black people are different than white people. as humans yes we are the same pretty much. but culturally we are different. i dont think this commercial is trying to testify and say ALL black people are like this. another point is the fact that the black girl likes her regular self better than the model version of her self.

i would like to see who actually wrote and directed the commercial

the girl in that video was not the average black girl. there may be a good amount of girls like that in reality but most black women do not talk and act like that. if you believe differently then you just havent broaded your horizons yet

^^^^^^Real Post. Sometimes stereotypes are true like a mother fucker

most black men actually choose brownskin sisters more than anything. when it comes to that whole light skin/mixed girl thing you are talking about, that does not speak to the majority of black mens preference. all that is is something different than the norm that we like to explore. women like kim kardashian dont stand up to women like sanaa lathan pound for pound in the average black mans preference
