I thought both of them went in but I do believe that Em was a little better but it wasn't that bad
I really liked some Jay's line's on that song and never understood how anybody could say he was wack on that song.
I think the main reason why Em's verses stuck out was because before that alot of Black fans didn't think that he could spit like that with the big dogs and he showed and proved so that is the main reason why I think people jumped all on Em's dick cause they probably didn't know he could spit like that. People thought he was pop and on that Real Slim Shady stuff, and that song showed people when he wants he can go with
anybody.
I will say that with all that being said I did find it weird that Jay never did a video cause that would have been an alltime great, I have to think that maybe he didn't want to give Em that shine or something. Any logical reason to not make a video for that song ? The people pretty much turned it into a single

The Entrepreneur;2131201 said:I feel you but I am not sure that at that time people would have said Em was on a level with Jay, I can say that I didn't miss with Em's first album and I got on late to the MMLP cause that Real Slim Shady drove me crazy. Em first came on my radar as a great rapper on the Way I am but I still don't know if I ever put him on a level with Jay until I heard it with my own ears on Renegade. That was a big moment for Em in my opinion cause it wasn't about the fact that he just couldn't spit but alot of people thought he was corny and he showed alot there to be on a track with Jay as far as subject matter, it just came off harder than alot of his stuff before.
