I'm not really a war monger but this sounds like an act of aggression. The us has allowed so many ppl to suckle upon the capitalist tit that retraction would cause a lot of ill feelings and resentment.

Yall do know that most of the countries in the UN is against the US right? US usually is or if not, seen as the agressor on a world scale. Usually Russia and China want some shit done and the US vetos it being a permanent member of the security council or vice versa. Now without the US involvement, Russia will run the UN.
Also for Israel, for most of the countries involved in the UN, Israel is seen as the agressor and the UN would have voted to create a Palestinian state and put mad pressure on Israel if the US wasnt vetoing everything that went against Israel.
With all that said, this sounds like the US blowing smoke. I cant imagine US leaving the UN and letting Russia have all the influence over it. If this happens then it really does mean that Russia took over the US.

More importantly, the UN allows a platform for diplomacy to set up things like international sanctions that hurt a countries economy. And they can put a rule in place that says something like if Israel keeps building settlements international trade sanctions will be placed on Israel and then all the companies that voted for the rule will place the sanctions. The idea here isnt that the UN will do something to the US. The issue is that the UN has 2 major powers. The US, backed by England, France, and Germany, and Russia with China. All of the are permanent members of the security council and have veto powers. Take the US out and the balance is out and Russia takes over the UN. Thats the issue.
