WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Police say 10 people have been shot at the Washington Navy Yard on Monday morning. We are told an officer was shot twice in the leg and taken to MedStar, and another officer was also shot.

One shooter is described as a black male with a dark complexion, approximately 5'10" to 6 feet tall, 170 pound with a black shirt and black hat, say police. He is believed to be barricaded somewhere and have multiple guns, including an AR-15.

There are reports there may be another shooter but that has also not been confirmed.
