A Nation Of One. Fresh off a tour in Africa, where he had a memorable experience with a chain snatcher, 50 Cent was back stateside serving up his usual straight talk. Appearing on BET's "106 & Park" with what's left of G-Unit; Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo, Curtis talked about everything from the Sean Bell verdict to unity in the south.
On Sean Bell, 50 admits he did make a dedication to the slain Queens man - who hails from the same neighborhood as 50 - on the upcoming G-Unit album, Terminate On Site. Unfortunately he has not spoken to Bell's wife Nicole Paultre-Bell nor donated any money to the family's cause.
On the south, Fif was less than complimentary when asked how the south stays so unified and the East coast doesn't.
"New York City is the mecca," 50 said. "It's the essence of where it comes from. The competitive nature of the art form it makes us compete more. There kinda in a survival circle 'like if we all hold on we might could stay close enough to the bay'. If you add them all up they'd be like one me. All of them."

It seems like a lot of yall don't read and see the bullshit that these artists do to themselves. 50 got caught up with himself. he bragged about sales, imagery, and hood status so much, harassing other artists to the point where people started getting tired of him. He over saturated and set his standards so damn high more than he could handle. It has nothing to do with the south, Young Buck situation, nothing. Game did not bury G-Unit, Rick Ross did absolutely no damage, NOTHING. The decline of 50's/G-Unit's fan-base and sales are all because of him.

c.b.b.;91111 said:5-0 also said the same thing on 106 & Park. Kind've funny coming from a dude that's never been nice lyrically. Dude is full of himself and was also stupid for dissing TI and Wezzy
He's used to seliing off of causing controversy, but it backfired on him like crazy this time, his gimmick has been up
mittenz;90860 said:Thats why Rick "Fraud" Ross was able to deflect all attention away from how he just totally jacked a whole niggas life (FREEWAY RICK ROSS) and denied doing it and also how he denied he was CO even after he was outed all crazy... he picked a battle with a nigga who was in everyones bad graces already.
50 a stupid ass nigga man for alienating a whole part of america that was a main part of his fanbase!
south4life;91242 said:That is why he hasn't sold that many records like he use 2.
The South was the ones that supported 50 more with Get Rich or Die Trying and The Massacre.
Everywhere I went in the south, I heard someone banging GTODT, Beg For Mercy and then The Massacre.
When he started alienating The South, he lost his biggest fan base. The truth is, most niggas Up North can't stand 50 and The West don't get down with him too much either.
He went on this campaign of downing The South. First with Lil Wayne and Baby, DJ Khaled's Southern Movement, Young Buck and now Rick Ross.
If he just goes back to being 50 from GTODT and stop disrespecting The South, maybe he will get them numbers again.

How is a nigga that came "Fresh up out the slammer/Aint no fuckin Bamma/ From NY Wooday but I know COUNTRY GRAMMA" gonna start comin at the very people who made him famous. In 2003, I was comin fresh back from DR and everybody was talkin bout this nigga 50 Cent. I heard him first thing I said is ....where is this dude from...NY???Why he sound southern?? That was part of his appeal.
First he was like "Go Shawty" and Ill Whip yo head Boy! Then this nigga just started saying Southern Rap dumbs down hip hop and outlandish shit like he can take on the whole south by himself and plus he just disowned Buck. Shit dont sit well with most of America...South on top right now and most record purchasing customers are from outside NY and relate more to niggas who speak with a drawl. 50 Fucked up Son.
