I actually think this brick will save 50's career. I think it will humble him and deflate his ego a bit. Therefore forcing him to step his game up. He got too comfortable.
But it will hurt him when negotiating a new deal. If his numbers show a steady decline, the record companies will use that as leverage to not have to pay him as much advance money or give him as much percentage of sales. 50 will be good on the marketing side with thisis50.com.

Jay-Z already made the move 50 would have with that Live Nation deal. 50's pride won't let him ask Live Nation for a deal because he'll just be following Jay's footsteps like the jealous little brother he is. Live Nation and Ticketmaster combined are going to crush these record labels soon and make it 10 times harder on independent artists to get out there.
