it's almost impossible for me to picture McNabb in a different jersey. that and Reid already said McNabb's his QB for 2010

If I was Philly I would want Alex Smith in return, he seems like a QB that is starting to make a turn. If I'm McNabb I wouldn't blame him if he wants to leave they seem to not appreciate him.

that would be a good pick up for the niners..philly dont deserve mcnabb anyway eagles fans dont appreciate him

Seriously? Alex Smith? Hes been in the league like 5 years and has been given every opportunity to be a starter. The coach didnt even give him a vote of confidence at the end of the year. I think he is a backup at best.

But I dont see this happening. I doubt Philly would trade McNabb even though the media seems to talk about it every year. I would be shocked if it happened.

if the eagles get a first round pick, i think it would work for both teams. obviously 49ers would be top in the nfc west (if warner retires). as for the eagles their back up qb kevin kolb played well why mcnabb was out and is alot younger, plus a first round draft pick to add to that young team.

thread says niners are going to make an offer... but in reality this is an article written by tim kawakami saying it would be a good idea if they did. tim kawakami is a loser. everyone in the bay knows that. it would be smarter for the Raiders to do it, seeing that they have a better pick.

I hope he goes to San Fran and wins a ring and then Philly fans will be crying how much they miss him.

From what I saw he played well when he took over the starting position, and considering he was young when he first got drafted, I think he deserves a chance to really prove he can be a starter.

As a die-hard Eagles fan, this offseason has been some bullshit. Man, ever since they've lost, dumb ass radio dudes up here have been shitting on McNabb HARD. I had to call up the station a couple times and put some people in their places.

To be honest, I wanted to see him go home to Chicago last year. He doesn't need, or deserve the bullshit he gets, especially when he CONSISTENTLY been a Top 5 or 6 QB for a decade plus. They've would've loved him there, but now with Cutler under center, that's out.

I'd love to see him go to the Vikings and win a ring. But I think, for his sake, he needs to roll out, and let this dumb-ass franchise try to go into future with....Kevin Kolb. Yeah, right....

But Donnie Mac to San Fran for Alex Smith??? FUCK THAT TRADE.

Damn shame. The greatest QB in Eagle history, and STILL getting shitted on after all this time.

5 OC's in 5 years with 5 diff offenses NO ONE WILL DEVELOP IF THE THIS KEEPS HAPPENING
besides the OC's were mike mccarthy (head coach), norv turner (head coach), and mike martz (potential HC but better OC)

Philly should try to get the first from the 9ers, but take the two if that's all they can get. They need to trade McNabb it's been 10, 11 years and they haven't won the SB since Reid isn't going anywhere they might as well get something for McNabb.

Basically, I'm not sure why some franchises can't figure out that stability a big factor in QB success.
