2pacalypse Now: Underrated Album Or Classic Album

What do you think about 2pacalypse Now?

To me I think its a dope album do I think its 2pac's best work? No but it was dope and 2pac was talking about political issues on that album.

What do you think?

the problem i had with that album was the production too me 2pac production didnt pick up till 94 when he worked more with easy mo bee and johnny j

the lyrics was def on point . if 2pac would have worked with liek e a ski or marley marl during that time i could only imagine how that album would have sounded

Dope debut imo. Only problem is that it didn't age well (prod wise). His 4th best album after his last three.

I disagree. Its not a classic but its surely underrated. I still got my tape. Trapped is one if Pacs best songs. The moment I heard it I knew duke had that gift. Dope dope ass debut.

it gets its due credit imo which means it cant be underrated.

It's a decent album. It's not something I go back & listen to all the way through, but he does have a few tracks I keep in my rotation.

I won't say it was under rated because when it dropped, at that point in time it was the shit. Very deep lyrics.....just ok production. But that was like 20 years ago so you can expect a large portion of people to not care cuz times changed.

"Violent" stayed beatin in everybodies trunks when that shit dropped.

Nahhh for me, its a average album. Has 3 or 4 classic songs on but the production was weak. He was on his Public Enemy/ political tip lyrically, but the beats let him down.

Soulja's Story is cool, but I'm not a fan when they change peoples voices like in the first verse where he has that dark voice:
