Chief Keef, Waka Flocka and Gucci Mane, I do not hate that they are making a living and taking care of their family, but that we as a Hip Hop community accepts and supports music that is that fucking wack.

Dead at this shyt... tha least you could've done was get tha lingo right. Caping = Cape, like Superman, on some Captain Save a Faggot shyt. I think it's utterly hilarious that when someone has an opposite opinion about something that makes them "frustrated" or a "hater."

Not really fustrated but more confused by the new age DJ's I.e. Khaled who gets Artist credits for doing absolutely nothin on the song. Granted he puts the songs together but that's what Producers do not DJ's.

Like how do u explain this to a non rap consumer.

"So ur telling me its his song but he say 3 words on it?"

for me I don't get frustrated or mad at folks success that I think are wack. French Montana for example. dude is pure garbage and I have no clue why he's on. But if he's successful sales wise then props to him. I take it as his fans are supporting him. Can't be mad at that. I go out and support who I like. I get a little more in my feelings when an artists I do like and support doesn't do well. That's b/c being a fan makes me want them to be successful.

in before the highest selling artist in hip hop gets mentioned....

anyway, an artists success doesnt frustrate me. i dont value artist sales that much. quality>>>, imo

Judging by certain emotional responses it seems like frustration over others success or just frustration at life itself can manifest itself in different outbursts.

All the animosity over 2-Chainz success is baffling considering that he grinded for years and never gave up on his dream.

How can you not salute an artist with the #1 song in Urban music and the #1 album in all music?

@Gen

Khaled is just the conductor and executive producer, he picks the music, tweaks the music, picks the artists comes up with the ideas and themes of the songs and then comes up with the hooks and finally turns the knobs for the final project.

I seen an old Vlog were Khaled was in the studio with T-Pain and he went through the entire process of putting the song together, he's basically doing what Diddy used to do in regards to exec-producing and overseeing a project.

@H-Rap naw I seen what he did with Hip Hop and he told Premier how he wanted the scratches. Khaled can be dope at putting songs together when he's not being a typical Rap Politician or forcing Ace Hood on us but I just don't get the artist credits.

I'd agree except for tha simple fact that Khaled hasn't executive produced either of his CMR releases. I wouldn't really call his shyt albums, they're more or less retail mixtapes or compilations.

I wouldn't say I'm "mad" at anyone's success but more often than not I don't understand why they are successful

Not takin shots at nobody but this site been had comments along these lines (and worse) for a long time. People that see success in life only see others success. They dont try to find a loss in it. Far as rappers, this site has an increasingly shrinking population who try to down successful, fun, and popular rappers. People are seeing through it more and more now though and no one cares what they say.

Ace Hood is the flagship artists for We The Best so we stuck with him as long as Khaled is around.

I'm going to cop that Khaled today, not just because he's a DJ but because beneath the surface he's really trying to unify the culture....

1. “Shout Out To The Real”

DJ Khaled featuring Meek Mill, Ace Hood and Plies

2. “B****es and Bottles (Let’s Get It Started)”

DJ Khaled featuring Lil Wayne, T.I. And Future

3. “I Wish You Would”

DJ Khaled featuring Kanye West and Rick Ross

4. “Take It To The Head”

DJ Khaled featuring Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne

5. “They Ready”

DJ Khaled featuring J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T. and Kendrick Lamar

6. “I’m So Blessed”

DJ Khaled featuring Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Ace Hood and T-Pain

7. “Hip-Hop”

DJ Khaled featuring Scarface and Nas

8. “I Did It For My Dawgz”

DJ Khaled featuring Rick Ross, Meek Mill, French Montana and Jadakiss

9. “I Don’t See Em”

DJ Khaled featuring Birdman, Ace Hood, and 2 Chainz

10. “Don’t Pay 4 It”

DJ Khaled featuring Wale, Tyga, Mack Maine and Kirko Bangz

11. “Suicidal Thoughts”

DJ Khaled featuring Mavado

12. “Outro (They Don’t Want War)”

DJ Khaled featuring Ace Hood

Bonus

“Don’t Get Me Started”

Ace Hood

“Aktion Pak”

Mavado

“B Boyz”

Birdman featuring DJ Khaled, Kendrick Lamar, Ace Hood, Mack Maine

I like to see regional unity on projects like this I just wish they had more than just two West Coast artists but I guess that's just a reflection of the game in general.

@Lamaont

French Montana is in position because of Cocaine DVD plus the movement he and Max B had, he's not a technically skilled rapper but he says that slick shit that the streets love. If Too Short can have 5 platinum albums then French Montana should be able to drop an album.

On the business end you want a self-contained artist like French because he can do everything himself without A&R direction, he's pretty much a Self Made artist trash or not.

To me jadakiss owns this thread. He's one of the best to ever do it. Should have a couple of classic albums by now but ........

Add Cassidy to the list too. Street cred. Check. Freestyle murderer. Check. Proven battle rapper. Check. Classic album.......
