Valentine's is a BS celebration.
What? This day is supposed to be the one day where I appreciate and go out of my way for my significant other? What about the other 364 days of the year? It's like a commodity used to make a profit. I get that many people have busy schedules and sometimes drift away from their partners due to them, but this day shouldnt make up for the rest of the days which are lacking and what one does for their s/o on that day shouldn't justify their love or relationship. And if all I get is some quality time with my s/o on that day but no chocolates I should be pissed off and assume he's a heartless bastard? Sure, its the thought that counts and I appreciate anything you do for me on February 14th........just as much as I appreciate all that you do on any other day.
