i am a huge wu fan so i will gladly listen to 8 diagrams. BUT from an unbiased standpoint its an above average album (compared to most music). i think to really "review" this album you need to understand that its not gonna be the caliber of an Enter the Wu or Wu-Tang Forever.
Im from indiana so im going with gibbs all the way. i can see people thinking hes just another gangster rapper....hes so much more than that because, well, he can RAP.
i was the first one out of anyone i know who was on Wayne. and i think that everyone should have the "best rapper alive" mentality, because if you believe it then your music will be better. carter 2 is the best wayne cd ever IMO. but now i think he feels like he doesnt need to prove anything...
i can totally understand someone not liking Em. i cant understand someone saying hes wack or not hip hop. hes lyrically one of the best to do it EVER. em has many great songs but a few of the songs that qualify him as one of the greatest are, imo..
Sing For the Moment

The Way I Am...
ok icu with that. i dont think drake should be on the list. even tho i love what drake is doing right now. like that dude said, he really doesnt have a large body of work. if drake flops on his sophmore album and falls off the map, would he be on that list next time?
i think you could say hip hop is on the downfall and hip-pop is on the way in BUT you could also say that hip hop is headed in the right direction. the thing is, the radio, tv, etc. dont taylor to hip hop heads. they taylor towards the majority of listeners. im sure everyone on this forum can...
cant stand ross or jeezy but they probably gotta be on that list somewhere. nelly should be on there too because the show wasnt just about whos better bar for bar. i like kiss but if we are going by the criteria they mentioned i say take jada off and put nelly in.
