Pledging $25 gets you a limited edition CD plus a digital copy with bonus tracks. Not a bad deal, plus I have no problem supporting someone as under appreciated as Elzhi.
I'm not trying to troll. I think Lamar's album is overrated as hell. Not one keeper on there for me. Not a single memorable line or beat. All hype no substance IMO. Life is Good may not be a classic, but it is one hell of a good album.
I'll have to check out that Oddisee, I haven't heard of him.
I would put Trophies and Underground Superstar as neck and neck for the #2 spot of the year. I think Nas has #1 on lock, that album is incredible.
Oh and if you haven't heard it, peep the eMC album The Show from a few years back (supergroup consisting of Ace, Punchline, Wordsworth, and Stricklin), it is fire.
