THIS is why I hate music nerds. The album was phenomenal, and from the production side it was art. With the exception of Lift Off, most of the beats took a miminalist approach, but the arrangement made it all sound more complex. The arrangements were crazy...

Didn't know he split with GOOD music, but I'm glad it sounds like he'll keep working with them in the future. Honestly, I don't have a lot of interest in a Common/Nas album without Kanye at the helm. They get into some wierd shit when you leave them to do their own thing unsupervised.
